JOB PURPOSE This position is responsible for the operation of automated hoist control software. An anodizing operator will run designated equipment and is responsible for the loading/unloading, measuring, and making routine adjustments. Anodizing Operators must follow all operator instructions along with strict adherence to the Quality System. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Operate simple to complex computer software. Make required adjustments to maintain specifications utilizing verbal instructions, written Operator instructions and boundary samples. Process components within established operator cycle times. Measure components and test complete assemblies using calibrated test and measuring equipment. Prepare required written documentation, i.e. Product Acceptance Records, Nonconforming Material Reports. Adhere to all Safety Principles. Adhere to all Quality System Standards. All other duties, as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent 3-6 months related experience and/or training Ability to read and understand Safety Rules, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and engineering drawings. Ability to use common hand and power tools. Ability to use calibrated test and measuring equipment. Ability to communicate effectively with work group. Ability to apply problem solving techniques and implement corrective action. Ability to maintain confidentiality as required. WORKING CONDITIONS Work is performed in an operational manufacturing warehouse environment. While performing regular duties, this position is exposed to various chemicals and solvents. May require working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and stretching, and full range of body motion including handling and lifting up to 50 pounds frequently, manual and finger dexterity, as well as a normal range of hearing and vision. Microbiology Investigations Assistant Manager
Description: Job Purpose: Microbiology Investigation Assistant Manager manages and ensures compliance with FDA regulations in areas of non-conformance investigations, memorandums, deviations, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) for the Microbiology department. Creates and executes investigation and project work plans and revises, as appropriate, to meet changing needs and requirements. Identifies resources needed and assigns individuals responsibilities. Manages day-to-day operational aspects of the investigation process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manages and provides support for the completion of CAPAs, Quality Events (QEs), excursions, memorandums, and deviations as they pertain to the Microbiology department. Bridges the gap between Microbiology and other departments. Works closely with R&D and QC management to ensure coordinated investigations and/or projects are assigned and communicated between all of microbiology. Reviews reports, training, and data for impacted departments to ensure all training related to investigations are completed. Establishes a timeline for each phase of investigations, as well as a completion date for the entire project. Ensures investigation documentation is complete and current. Microbiology Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) review, revision and creation Ensures all Microbiology investigations are completed in a thorough, expeditious manner to meet the needs of the company. Works collaboratively with the Quality Investigations Team, if needed, with attention to any repeated occurrences of similar root causes. Communicates all Microbiology-related observations, issues, problems, discrepancies, and any violations of company policies or procedures to the Assistant Director of Microbiology, VP of Operational Excellence, or designee.
