JOB SUMMARY: The Groundskeeper contributes to the overall success of TAM Residential by maintaining the appearance and functionality of our apartment community's outdoor spaces. Remove weeds, debris, leaves, and litter from lawns, parking lots, walkways, and common areas. Perform seasonal landscaping tasks, including mulching, snow/ice removal, storm cleanup and preparation for seasonal weather changes as applicable. Inspect outdoor lighting, irrigation systems, and other exterior features, reporting issues to maintenance personnel. Assist with setup, cleanup, and maintenance of community amenities such as pools, grills, and recreation areas. General Upkeep Empty trash receptacles and replace liners in common areas, including mail centers, pet stations, and community entrances. Sweep and pressure-wash sidewalks, patios and other surfaces Maintain clean and organized storage and work areas. Assist maintenance staff with minor repairs or special projects as directed. Ensure that all tools, equipment, and materials are used safely and stored properly after each use. POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for maintenance and repair of customer equipment as assigned. This position is trained in at least two skill sets, maintains a high level of productivity, must have three of the four CFESA certifications and is assigned to the on-call roster. This position demonstrates leadership capabilities with the ability to mentor and train other employees. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Adhere to all SAFETY policies and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment. Troubleshoot and repair gas, electric, water, refrigeration and steam powered commercial kitchen and HVAC equipment. Utilize tablet to document task (parts order, work order, timesheet) on a timely basis. Communicate professionally with customer regarding required repairs and status. Use proper tools for repair, including hand tools and power tools. Monitor truck stock to insure required parts are stocked on vehicle. Maintain service vehicle, tools and uniforms. Work independently with daily supervision. Participate as scheduled for weekend/holiday on-call rotation and work regular overtime as needed. EAF Melt Shop Operations Apprentice It’s what’s inside that counts. Step into the heart of steelmaking at CMC, where your learning curve is steep, your impact is tangible, and your team has your back from day one. A day in the melt shop You arrive for shift change, review equipment inspection logs, and head to the pulpit. From there, you scan the furnace, casting, ladle furnace, and refractory areas for anything out of the ordinary. You jump in where you’re needed—supporting the Ladle Furnace operator, communicating with the crane operator, helping maintenance with minor fixes, or filling in as a Scrap Crane Operator or Second Helper. You keep safety front and center, document inspections, and help the crew keep the area clean and organized. By the end of the shift, you’ve advanced your knowledge of start-up, shutdown, and emergency procedures and contributed to a smooth, safe heat.
