Responsibilities Troubleshoot electrical and automation equipment, including PLC I/O cards and field devices. PLC programming is not required, but candidates should understand basic ladder logic and function block logic. Troubleshoot Siemens or Allen-Bradley PLC systems, 3-phase motors, VFDs, prox switches, photoeyes, pressure valves, and instrumentation. Respond to crane and other production equipment trouble calls. Lower Assembly Team Lead
JOB PURPOSE The Lower Assembly Team Lead oversees the assembly and quality control of Palmetto State Armory’s Lower Receivers. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Leads the Lower Assembly Team with the assembly and inspection process. Delegate Tasks for quality as need be. Adhere to policies and quality standards. Works with Parts Room supervisor to appropriate the correct parts for the assembly job work order. Works with Compliance Supervisor to ensure all serial numbers are accounted for and all policies are adhered to. Comply with all safety rules and practices and ensure Lower Assembly Team is within compliance of safety rules and practices. All other duties, as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS High School diploma or equivalent Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly. Basic knowledge of firearms High attention to detail Decision Making and Accountability Ability to manage and perform multiple tasks and duties at the same time. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely. Safety and Security Awareness, ability to identify and correct conditions. Ability to work at a sustained pace and produce quality work. Positive attitude, ability to communicate effectively, and willingness to work as part of a team. Work efficiently as well as quickly. Be Familiar with Microsoft Office and data entry. Patients, persistence and problem-solving skills are very important. Must be at least 18 years of age. Maintain confidentiality as required. WORKING CONDITIONS Work is performed in an operational manufacturing warehouse environment. Specific job assignments may require day, evening, weekend or holiday hours. Overtime may be required to meet production needs. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Team members are constantly standing, walking, carrying, pulling/pushing, bending, seeing, kneeling, stooping, reaching, hearing, as well as handing paperwork and using basic hand tools. Team members will be lifting objects weighing 50 lbs. or less regularly. Cleaning material and chemicals used regularly. DIRECT REPORTS Not Applicable. Must be at least 18 years of age.
