Job Summary: The Golf Course Maintenance Technician is responsible for the daily upkeep and maintenance of the golf course, ensuring optimal playing conditions for members and guests. This role involves hands-on work with turf care, irrigation, landscaping, and equipment operation. The technician plays a key role in preserving the beauty and functionality of the golf course by performing routine maintenance tasks and assisting with special projects as directed by the Director of Grounds. Job Responsibilities: Maintain golf course greens, fairways, roughs, and bunkers by mowing, trimming, aerating, and edging. Assist in irrigation maintenance, including inspecting and repairing sprinklers, adjusting watering schedules, and troubleshooting leaks. Perform daily bunker maintenance, including raking, edging, and sand replenishment. Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other turf treatments following safety protocols and club standards. Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, aerators, and blowers. Assist with tree and shrub care, including pruning, planting, and removal as needed. Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance on golf course equipment. Set up and maintain golf course accessories, including tee markers, hole cups, and directional signage. Monitor and report any course damage, such as turf disease, drainage issues, or pest infestations. Participate in special projects, including course renovations, drainage improvements, and new landscaping installations. Ensure all maintenance areas and equipment storage facilities are clean and organized. Follow all safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and club policies. As a key member of the service engineering team, you will build and maintain expert-level technical knowledge and service material related to product operation, performance, and maintenance to assure service technicians, support personnel, and customers are able to troubleshoot and service Plug’s products. You will be responsible for key service deliverables (e.g., Service BOM/Spares List, Corrective and Preventive Maintenance Procedures, Tools & Equipment Definition, Fault Handling Procedures, etc.) during development and early deployments of new products. This role will also be responsible for the Sustaining Engineering Efforts for the fleet of Electrolyzer systems actively supporting Client operations globally. You will be expected to support both internal and external troubleshooting efforts during operations, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) in the event of equipment failure, and fleet performance in order to maintain Client satisfaction around Key Performance Indicators (KPI). The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong engineering background with applied experience developing and servicing complex electro-mechanical systems, rectifier and transformer packages, medium voltage power systems, large-scale industrial gas plants, or similar types of systems. Core Duties and Responsibilities Lead development and validation of service engineering deliverables during new product development to assure the global services organization and 3rd party partners are prepared to support fielded systems. Able to use good judgement in decision-making and be able to work with or without direct supervision. Willing to learn all aspects of the asphalt plant.
