Job Summary: The Golf Course Maintenance Technician is responsible for the daily upkeep and maintenance of the golf course, ensuring optimal playing conditions for members and guests. This role involves hands-on work with turf care, irrigation, landscaping, and equipment operation. The technician plays a key role in preserving the beauty and functionality of the golf course by performing routine maintenance tasks and assisting with special projects as directed by the Director of Grounds. Job Responsibilities: Maintain golf course greens, fairways, roughs, and bunkers by mowing, trimming, aerating, and edging. Assist in irrigation maintenance, including inspecting and repairing sprinklers, adjusting watering schedules, and troubleshooting leaks. Perform daily bunker maintenance, including raking, edging, and sand replenishment. Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other turf treatments following safety protocols and club standards. Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, aerators, and blowers. Assist with tree and shrub care, including pruning, planting, and removal as needed. Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance on golf course equipment. Set up and maintain golf course accessories, including tee markers, hole cups, and directional signage. Monitor and report any course damage, such as turf disease, drainage issues, or pest infestations. Participate in special projects, including course renovations, drainage improvements, and new landscaping installations. Ensure all maintenance areas and equipment storage facilities are clean and organized. Follow all safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and club policies. Qualifications, Education, & Experience: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each responsibility successfully. This person must present a neat appearance and have a warm, cheerful personality. Tact and good judgment are especially beneficial characteristics. This person must also possess the knowledge, skill, and ability to carry out the job responsibilities. Prior experience in golf course maintenance, landscaping, or groundskeeping preferred but not required. Basic understanding of turf management, irrigation systems, and golf course upkeep. Ability to safely operate and maintain golf course maintenance equipment. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required by golf course operations. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be available to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required by the club’s schedule. Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and move across large outdoor areas for extended periods. Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds regularly. Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing for maintenance and repair tasks. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and rain. Job Responsibilities At Richland Maintenance, under general supervision of Resident Maintenance Engineer (RME), supervises the maintenance of roads, bridges, and right-of-way in Richland County and the Upper portion of Lexington County with respect to District and County Business Plan, HMMS work requests and other specials projects. Senior Product Service & Sustaining Engineer - Electrical Status: Exempt (Salaried) Department: Global Service – Service Engineering (Dept. 331) Position Summary This Product Service and Sustaining Engineer role, with a specialty in Electrical Engineering topics, will drive design efforts to achieve high operational availability, reliability and low life-cycle maintenance cost of Plug Power Electrolyzer systems during product development and early customer deployments. As a key member of the service engineering team, you will build and maintain expert-level technical knowledge and service material related to product operation, performance, and maintenance to assure service technicians, support personnel, and customers are able to troubleshoot and service Plug’s products. You will be responsible for key service deliverables (e.g., Service BOM/Spares List, Corrective and Preventive Maintenance Procedures, Tools & Equipment Definition, Fault Handling Procedures, etc.) during development and early deployments of new products. This role will also be responsible for the Sustaining Engineering Efforts for the fleet of Electrolyzer systems actively supporting Client operations globally. This position includes maintenance and upkeep of the asphalt plant, as well as various manual tasks including but not limited to the following: greasing the plant and keeping the plant working efficiently, checking and maintaining proper oil levels, laboring and minor servicing of the plant as needed, operating the plant, performing ground maintenance, and running the loader. Main Responsibilities Performs basic maintenance and service on asphalt plant as required. Ability to weld and use cutting torch is a plus. Cleans and maintain yard daily. Keep plant lubed and greased. Maintain oil levels of plant. Shoveling, sweeping, steam cleaning, painting, mechanical assistance, lifting, pushing and pulling various objects and raking. Other duties assigned by supervisor. Properly complete required paperwork/records regarding repairs and maintenance. Able to use good judgement in decision-making and be able to work with or without direct supervision. Willing to learn all aspects of the asphalt plant. Willing to work nights and weekends, if necessary. Education and Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combinations of education and experience. Must be able to work nights (mostly night work). Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Provide own transportation to and from work. Driving License (preferred).
