Schedule: 9:00pm to 5:30am Sunday to Thursday (Extended shift and weekend overtime work required) Compensation: $20.25 per hour (plus $1.25 per hour shift differential) The Role The AIKI Copper Operator for is responsible for operating the automated Aiki machine, which prepares copper for the Aiki build-up operator prior to the pressing operation. This position also tracks copper foil inventory in computer system.. This role is required to cross-train and perform other skill level "A-C" positions. If copper is defective, place on hold per quality procedure. • Stage and load copper on the correct magazine. • Perform transactions in computer to change the location of the copper foil from stock to Aiki location. • Log copper usage and scrap in batch sheets. • Between press loads, perform computer transactions to issue/produce copper usage. • Perform Aiki Build up operator duties as needed. • Participate in weekly preventive maintenance. • Participate in inventory cycle counts. • Maintain continuous quality inspection throughout lay-up process.
