Who we are looking for: We are seeking an experienced Embroidery Machine Operator to join our upholstery department, specializing in embroidered vinyl (primarily) and other materials. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating and maintaining commercial embroidery machines, working with heavy materials like vinyl, and producing high-quality embroidered logos and designs that meet company and customer standards. We are looking for someone who can: Operate and monitor embroidery machines (Melco EMT16X 5-Head System) for logos and custom designs on vinyl upholstery (primarily), hats, t-shirts, patches, and other items. Digitize artwork using DesignShop v12, creating embroidery files that meet design and production specifications and placing them accurately on products. Prepare materials for embroidery, including hooping materials with proper backing, clamps, or frames. Set up machines with correct threads, needles, bobbins, and tension for each job. Ensure consistent stitch quality, correcting issues such as thread breaks, skipped stitches, or misalignment as needed. Perform routine cleaning and light maintenance to keep machines running efficiently. Maintain organized production records and ensure orders are completed on schedule. Assist with overall department and production needs as required. Perform all other duties as assigned.
