Job Title: Manufacturing Manager Department: Manufacturing Reports to: Chief Operating Officer Basic Function: Responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring that production orders are filled on time and that parts are produced to meet the specified quality levels. Ensure work instructions and other aids to manufacturing are up to date and provided to appropriate employees. Ensures all production personnel are properly trained to perform their functions. Works with manufacturing engineers to set standard work rates. Works closely with material planners to develop accurate scheduling processes. Secondary Responsibilities: Assist with physical inventory process. Provide input and help to other departments as needed. Ensure cycle counts are performed and updated by manufacturing personnel in manufacturing areas as scheduled. Assist with estimating and quoting new business.
