Candidate must possess a working knowledge of automation systems, microcomputer hardware and software and data processing operations. Candidates must understand the fundamentals of hardware and software as they relate to IP networks. Must be versed in data backup and restore procedures and demonstrate a willingness to learn and implement basic information security practices and procedures. A working knowledge in several of the following areas is preferred: Microsoft servers, Windows desktops, SQL, IIS, shared storage, and virtualization. The successful candidate must understand network monitoring, spam filters, and anti-virus systems. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION Employee may incur overnight travel during participation in offsite support, conferences, exercises and seminars. Employee may be required to assist with setup and breakdown of audio visual, communications and computer equipment used in conferences, briefings, and exercises. Employee may be required to spend an extended period in a disaster field office located in an impacted area in the event of a major disaster response or recovery operations. Light work: exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
