General Machine Operator
The General Machine Operator must be willing and capable of learning all aspects of spiral weld pipe manufacturing. The Operator must have the ability to collaborate with the team while possessing the aptitude to collect data and independently make good decisions in real time based on those facts. The Operator must be self-motivated with the leadership skills to inspire others and have the perceptive skills to identify inconsistencies in product and equipment and develop solutions for them. Having an uncompromising commitment to safety is a requirement. Training on specific equipment and processes will be provided. Review's work orders or takes direction from the leadership team to determine what jobs are required, and in what order to run them. Assist the leader in the set-up of the machine. Verifies that all positions have been checked and ready to start. Ensures machine is kept running by observing and correcting problems that arise. Monitor's quality of alignment and weld process, pipe specifications, cement lining, and application of coating. Performs preventive maintenance and minor repairs to machinery and equipment. Refers electrical and hydraulic problems to maintenance department for resolution. Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of the product. Adheres to all safety rules and brings safety issues to the attention of department leadership or safety manager. Follows all work procedures, policies, and protocols. CNC Operator
As a Gantry Mill Machinist at Husqvarna Construction in Columbia, SC, you will work in the Tool Room within the manufacturing area. You’ll use your knowledge of metal properties and machining techniques—such as milling, drilling, reaming, and boring—to plan and perform operations that produce parts meeting exact blueprint and routing specifications. SHIFT: 2nd shift, 2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m., Monday - Friday The primary machining operation will be modification of steel blade cores, and the primary machine tool will be the Haas Gantry Milling machine. You will set up the machine, choose cutting tools, and write or modify basic CNC programs. During and after the machining operations, you will use precision measuring tools to perform quality control checks and ensure compliance to blueprints or routing requirements. When defects are detected, you will make corrections as needed. Other tasks will include cleaning and storage of tooling, cleaning of machines, and cleaning of the work area. Bulk Ops Tech – Basic Skills
The Bulk Operations Technician- Basic Skills is responsible for starting, operating, cleaning, and assisting the BFS Technician in performing maintenance on production equipment. Responsible for timely documentation of work performed. Responsibilities: Obtain and keep a good working knowledge, assist in performing routine, preventative, and unscheduled maintenance on the following production equipment: Blow-Fill-Seal Machines Resin Handling Equipment Preparing the BFS machines for batch filling. Tasks typically include: changing code magazines, ensuring proper filters are in place and properly tested, connecting the appropriate holding tank to the fill suite, steam sterilization, filter drying, starting the BFS and making initial mechanical and filling adjustments. Monitor the BFS machines and support equipment during the batch filling. Perform routine shift checks and document appropriately. Make adjustments to ampoule weight, forming, and fill volume during batch filling as needed to maintain process control. Performing shutdown procedures at the completion of the batch filling. Tasks typically include: disconnecting the holding tank from the fill suite, in-line WFI cleaning, internal surface cleaning, product filter integrity testing, steaming molds, and changing filters if necessary. Perform filter integrity test on air filters and document appropriately. Perform routine preventative maintenance on the BFS equipment Maintain housekeeping of area and equipment. Maintain complete and accurate documentation of activities to support product disposition. Participate in the internal and external training program. Maintain a professional team-oriented working relationship with fellow employees. Follow Ritedose SOPs, safety and health guidelines and c-GMP Guidelines. Perform routine maintenance on BFS machines. Physical Requirements: Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 40 pounds of equipment, parts or supplies. 2 year technical degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment Mechanical or electrical experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to establish priorities and operating equipment quality expectations. Ability to participate and develop a team-oriented working relationship within the operation.
