Position Summary CVS Health has an exciting new opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician on our CarePlus Specialty Pharmacy team in Columbia, South Carolina. The team specializes in MS, Oncology, Hepatitis, HIV, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Tranplant, and Gastrointestinal diseases. As part of the team, you will be leading an innovative and bold initiative aimed at transforming health care and pharmacy leveraging new and emerging information, technologies, and channels. In order to be successful in this position you must be able to lift and ship prescriptions up to 50 pounds. You will be essential to ensuring medication has been filled correctly and be responsible for accuratley entering prescription information as needed. You will also be asked to contact patients to arrange delivery or set a pickup date, perform refill reminder calls, accurately fill medication orders, prepare orders for delivery, packing/shipping medication orders via various carriers for final delivery to the patient, maintaining adequate inventory, managing inventory functions, and helping walk-in customers. The pharmacy is open Monday through Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
