Position Summary The IT Service Desk Analyst II provides end-user support for business systems, infrastructure, client software and end user devices. The IT Service Desk Analyst II provides incident resolution and fulfills requests within a prescribed SLA. The position monitors tier 1 and 2 service calls related to all services provided by IT including, the network, business applications (ERP, PLM, QMS, and Office365, et, etc.) Additionally, this role is responsible for configuring, initial setup, and troubleshooting personal devices (mobile phones, printers and laptops). Job Duties Serves as a single point of contact for helpdesk support. Troubleshoots and resolves software issues related to Business Systems. Troubleshoots desktop issues and provides user support for hardware, software, printers, help desk, remote user support, etc.ch as hardware and desktop software related issues. Communicates with development team as needed to assist in resolving tier 2 related issues. Escalates calls to development team when necessary. Proactively ensures systems meet user and business requirements. Builds knowledge base of common IT issues. Documents the development and configurations of systems. Builds and deploys user PCs. Manages and maintains voice systems. Handles advanced tier 2 level calls related to business applications without involving a developer. Supports Network Administrator(s) in management of basic networking functions such as: User account management, passwords, file/directory permissions, print queues, etc. Maintains spare inventory to support PC needs. Troubleshoots and resolves network issues related to switches, cabling and wireless connectivity. Administers SQL DB. Tracks PC software usage and licensing compliance. Other duties as assigned. Educational Requirements Associate of Science degree in Information Systems or equivalent is required. Bachelor of Science Degree in information systems is preferred. Experience Requirements Two years of experience interfacing with customers and providing service desk level support and one year of experience troubleshooting, configuring networks, switches and servers, business applications such as, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Quality Management Software (QMS). etc. and supporting Windows and Windows Server Operating Systems (OS) is required. Summary/Purpose Primary function is to operate and maintain adjustments of various process, manual or automated machines and manipulators in the high volume production of quality bearings. Essential Duties and Accountabilities: • Reads work instructions for product specifications, dimensions, tolerances, and tooling instructions. • Selects, positions, and secures cutting tools in tool holder (chuck, collet, or tool post). • Turns valves / coolant lines to direct flow of coolant or cutting oil against tool and work piece. • Observes operation of machine and verifies conformance of machined work piece to specifications, dimensional tolerances and visually inspects parts for non-conformance. • Follow standard operating production procedures and work instructions. Perform work in a systematic manner when possible to insure all steps are carried out in proper sequence. • Perform operational preventative maintenance according to schedules. • Read dial indicators and other measuring devices to insure quality standards are met. If manufacturing process is causing quality issues, Machine Operator will stop production and consult with the Setup and Floor Supervisor. • Assist Setup personnel during operation by giving information, making minor machine adjustments &/or tool settings. • Record production results on an hourly basis. • Perform quality checks and scrap as required. • Properly disposition process rejects in appropriate areas. • Responsible for all “5-S” and daily housekeeping on a daily basis. Performs major cleanup as required. • Follow and complete daily work assignments as directed by Setup Associates and Floor Supervisors. • Associates are accountable on a daily basis to the Setup Associate and Floor Supervisors. • Maintain Traceability records by recording component serial numbers. • Ability to successfully operate multiple product areas (ex: turning, grinding and assembly). • Determine causes of minor machine malfunction and make adjustments or repair in order for machine to process materials in accordance to specifications in a timely manner. • Assist on changeover as required. • Train other associates as directed. • Other duties as assigned.
