To provide complete customer satisfaction in a polite and professional manner while working in a Team environment. Effectively analyzes problem situations pertaining to breakdowns of customer equipment and recommends action necessary to correct the situation to customer. Exhibits a professional demeanor, promotes goodwill between the company and customers by providing a superior level of customer service. Performs necessary repairs to correct analyzed situations in a professional and productive manner. WHAT YOU'LL NEED Need to maintain a valid driver license Preferred one to three years mechanical, electrical and hydraulic experience in a similar environment or equivalent in college or vocational education. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, management and co-workers. Ability to maintain a good understanding of industry innovations and product availability in order to make recommendations based on customer need. Ability to safely operate drills, grinders, presses, forklift, hoists, overhead cranes and personal hand tools. Job Responsibilities Assists with the development, maintenance, and update of the hydraulic design manuals and policies. Drafts memoranda and assists with the coordination of review comments. Prepares and maintains supporting information for engineering documents. Assists in supporting the Bridge Scour Program by reevaluating bridge-sized structures for potential scour using accepted methods and tools, ensuring the accuracy of SNBI and SBI code data in BrM, maintaining the scour section other Bridge File, assisting with managing BridgeWatch, and reviewing, developing, and maintaining Scour Plans of Action for scour critical bridges. Assists design and maintenance staff in the evaluation of field conditions to determine hydraulic design properties at bridges. Reviews and makes recommendations for the bridge length, span arrangements, and bridge elevation. Assists with the preparation of draft scope of services and man-hour cost estimates for engineering services. Monitors project schedules and payments. Assists with the development and maintenance of resiliency tools to help the Department during emergency and normal operations. Assists with the development and maintenance of hydraulic and hydrologic databases. Assists in training Department and Consultant staff on engineering topics related to hydraulic engineering design. Assists with developing 2D modeling guidelines and aid design staff with the development of 2D models for bridge hydraulic studies. Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum and Additional Requirements A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Science and Management and three (3) years of engineering or construction management work experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence. A valid motor vehicle operator's license is required. The physical demands for the essential functions involves sitting or standing at a desk for extended periods of time. This position may require occasional travel. May require bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, climbing, balancing, and kneeling. Responsible for properly installing, repairing and maintaining field beverage equipment. Must represent the company and its customers in a professional manner. Maintain an acceptable level of productivity related to the amount of completed calls. Primary Responsibilities: Perform installations, repairs and maintenance on commercial beverage and related equipment at our customers location. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, troubleshooting and repair of beverage equipment. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Demonstrate proper knowledge of equipment. Communicate with the supervisor when extra training may be needed. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. Comply with regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area. Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times while treating customers, driving company vehicles, etc. “Treat others how you would like to be treated” Fill out field service reports properly, legible and with as much information as possible. When eligible. Maintain frequent communication with the dispatcher to assure that the right information is relayed and entered into our system. Maintain company vehicles in good working condition, both mechanically and organized. Arrange for company vehicles to get routine maintenance and any required service. Make sure proper documentation is kept up-to-date and kept in company vehicles at all times. All repairs and service on vehicles covered by the company through our fleet management company. Fulfill all new and existing training requirements as set by service managers and/or technician development directors. Must be able to cover emergency calls on weekends on a rotating basis as laid out by the manager to satisfy the market needs. Other duties as assigned.
