Summary: Our Electronics Technician is a skilled role responsible for supporting the testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of locomotive electronic devices. This position performs hand-on work inspecting, identifying failures and replacing non-conforming parts in electronic devices. Variations on this schedule will be communicated upon hire. Duties and Responsibilities: Perform functional tests on electronic products at various stages of assembly. Conduct basic repairs on electronic boards and harnesses using soldering techniques. Job purpose The Field Service Technician provides first level customer support for installed Foodmate systems and new installations. He or she should possess the skills to test, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and debug electro-mechanical processing equipment and related systems. Job Summary: Scale Service Techs Level I work mostly on their own in the field to calibrate and / or repair customer’s industrial scales. Candidates must have strong computer skills, be in good physical condition, enjoy solving technical problems and being part of a team. Upon completion of calibration, the service tech enters data into calibration software and creates a Certificate of Calibration for the customer. They work some overtime and weekend hours.
