This includes setting up, adjusting, and operating various surveying equipment such as electronic total stations (Topcon GPT series), robotic total stations (Topcon GT-503 and GT-603), data collectors (FC-500’s up to FC-6,400’s), and GPS equipment (Topcon HiPer VR’s). Set up, adjust, and operate surveying equipment to measure distances, elevations, and angles. Ensure equipment is maintained and calibrated as needed. Prepare field notes and sketches, perform surveying calculations using engineering calculators, laptops, and PCs. Analyze Traverses and benchruns for mathematical closure and geometric accuracy using coordinate geometry (Cogo) software.
