Inventory Replenishment Supervisor
JOB PURPOSE The Inventory Replenishment Supervisor will provide leadership and guidance to team members responsible for the processing of product returns and the processing and fulfillment of transfer orders to all retail locations. The supervisor will be expected to work directly with operations, customer service and retail management teams on timely scheduling and delivery. This position will supervise and lead daily communication and resolutions with retail and procurement on any issue related to inventory discrepancies or processing anomalies. The supervisor will lead operations with building loads daily so transportation associates can effectively start their day without searching for shipments from different business segments. Daily responsibilities will focus primarily on the timely process of returns and the distribution of product throughout or supply chain to support organizational business goals. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manage associate’s schedules with an emphasis on time management, projects, metrics, and the execution of distribution tasks in accordance with SOPs, while focusing on safety, quality, and environmental compliance Lead and direct providing training instructions, daily coaching, and constructive feedback Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of SOPs and follow the procedures in performing the duties of the job. Assign transactional work according to retail delivery schedules Work closely with transportation associates to streamline delivery/pickup schedules and recommend operational improvements Coordinate reports and daily communication with retail management on transfer order completion and/or problem resolution Notify operations management of any inventory discrepancy and correct transfer order transactions Drive continuous improvements in and outside of your area of responsibility by identify failures, and root causes and make improvements Participate in and lead programs and departmental programs to ensure efficient and cost-effective operation and utilization of the facility Regularly communicate cross functionally to keep associates, peers, and Management informed of project status, process changes, and opportunities Refine existing return receipt and put away methodologies to meet performance targets Define and develop processes to identify items that are deemed non-sellable and adjust inventory accordingly Receive Return Authorizations for no movement orders that need to be refunded Verify and create RA’s for returns that need to be refunded as needed Work directly with Customer Service to resolve customer issues related to returned product Contact customer who has questionable transactions or issue with their returns Ensure that all serialized returns are processed timely and in accordance with compliance guidelines Compile and send the end of day report for the department All other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Required Qualifications include: 2 years Associates degree, 4-year college degree preferred Prior work experience in distribution operations with a focus on outbound processing Solid communication skills – verbally and written. TAM was awarded NAA's Top Employer for 2022! MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN JOB SUMMARY: The Maintenance Technician works on work orders, repairs, renovations, unit turnover and on-call emergencies. The Maintenance Technician will assist the Lead Maintenance Technician and the Community Manager in implementing maintenance programs, policies, procedures, and preventative maintenance efforts. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion Estimate time and extent of repairs Perform routine preventive maintenance Maintain material and supply inventory Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience in apartment maintenance required Must be HVAC certified Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment Ability to handle physical workload Deadline and detail-oriented Must have reliable transportation WORKING CONDITIONS: Ability to operate in an open work area with moderate everyday noise. Ability to work from multiple locations. Ability to perform other duties as required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to frequently, and sometimes for long periods of time, sit, stand, climb and descend stairs, walk, extend arms and hands forward and overhead, using fingers to grasp, and carry. The ability to frequently lift, carry, push or pull 25 to 50 lbs. in a correct and safe manner. Physically able to climb numerous flights of stairs daily.
