Job Summary: The Senior Roving Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating maintenance operations across multiple sites or facilities. Key Responsibilities: Perform various maintenance functions including minor repairs in electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, and heating/air issues. Travels (sometimes out of state) to underperforming or short-staffed properties to assist in the day-to-day operation of the maintenance department. Completes minor repairs and improvements in vacant units to achieve market-ready status in a timely manner. Performs general carpentry duties such as wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass repair, door/lock repair, and ceramic tile repair. Assists with vinyl floor, cove, and wall base installation. Maintains equipment and monitor’s inventory. Assist with snow removal and seasonal upkeep. Performs emergency on-call service for after-hours maintenance-related issues as required when in a community. Assists with emergency roof repairs and exterior siding repairs. Responds rapidly and thoroughly to emergencies, special needs, etc. Accepts suggestions and direction from supervisors and hospital staff. Demonstrates knowledge of department policies and procedures. Honors department's attendance, break, behavior, dress, personal hygiene, and safety codes.
