Lead root cause analyses to implement corrective measures for production and quality discrepancies. Drive initiatives that enhance overall safety, quality, delivery speed, and cost-efficiency for the entire facility. Facilitate the successful integration of new product lines and manufacturing techniques. Champion continuous improvement efforts throughout the production environment. Manage engineering projects independently while taking full ownership of outcomes. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Relevant hands-on experience in engineering and manufacturing will be considered as an alternative. Demonstrated background working within a metal fabrication or general manufacturing setting. Strong proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T standards. Experience utilizing manufacturing systems such as MRPII or MRP. Familiarity with manufacturing risk analysis and FMEA methodologies. Proficiency in CAD software applications. Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles. Strong analytical skills to solve complex mechanical and manufacturing problems. Competent computer skills, specifically with the Microsoft Office suite. Effective communication skills to bridge the gap between engineering and shop-floor personnel. Ability to manage projects and resolve issues with minimal oversight. About the Role We are seeking an Operator 3, Bakery–Production to join our team at our Cayce, SC bakery. As an Operator 3, Bakery–Production, you will be accountable for operating and adjusting automated production and packaging equipment while ensuring products meet quality and food safety standards. This role is vital to maintaining production efficiency, minimizing downtime, and supporting a safe, high-performing manufacturing environment. Shift & Schedule Shift: 2nd Shift Hours: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM Weekend Availability: Required Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing) Operate and adjust automated production and packaging equipment to ensure products meet quality specifications. Monitor product quality and complete required documentation to support regulatory and company standards. Support production line start-ups, changeovers, shutdowns, and preventative maintenance activities. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while complying with GMP and safety requirements. Rotate across production and packaging operations to support changing business needs. Troubleshoot equipment and product issues to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency. Collaborate with team members to achieve production, food safety, and quality objectives.
