Position Overview The AgriculturalIndustry Food Sourcing Officer is responsible for identifying, qualifying, cultivating, and managing a portfolio of agricultural and industry partners to secure food donations in support of Harvest Hope Food Bank's mission. This position is a portfolio-based relationship management approach, with emphasis on sourcing food from farms, agricultural producers, manufacturers, processors, and industry partners across Harvest Hope Food Bank's 20-county service area in South Carolina. The Food Sourcing Officer focuses on building long-term partnerships that increase the consistency, quality, and volume of food sources. Responsibilities include outreach, site visits, relationship cultivation, stewardship, coordination with internal teams, and meeting defined sourcing goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manages a portfolio of agricultural, farming, and industry partners and prospects. Identifies, qualifies, and cultivates new food sourcing partners within the 20-county service area. Creates individual engagement and sourcing plans for each partner based on capacity, seasonality, and organizational needs. Executes sourcing plans to support recurring and sustainable food donations. Conducts regular in-person and virtual meetings, site visits, tours, and outreach activities. Creates sourcing agreements and coordinates logistics related to food donations in collaboration with internal teams. Works with Operations, Programs, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to align sourcing with organizational capacity and needs. Tracks sourcing activity, partner engagement, and food volume secured through assigned portfolio. Provides stewardship and recognition to sourcing partners in coordination with Communication, Development, and Program teams. Maintains accurate records and documentation related to partner relationships and sourced food. Stand Up Forklift Operator 2nd Shift - 4:00PM - UNTIL FINSIH Job Responsibilities: Receivers will unload live and drop trailers and transfer items to the various stockrooms around the warehouse to be racked. Inventory control forklift operators will feed the Production lines as needed based on customer specifications and FIFO requirements, perform stock rotations within the various stockrooms, and conduct special counts/cycle counts as needed. Loaders will pick their own orders and load the trailers based on customer freshness rules and trailer load configurations. All forklift operators will use the RF scan guns to capture the movement of all items within the warehouse, ensure cleanliness of their work area and the equipment they use, report any mishaps/accidents immediately, and recommend process or safety improvements. 2nd Shift - 4:15PM - Until Finish The Gatekeeper is responsible for transporting finished pallets from the production line to the Lantech Machines utilizing an electric pallet jack, hand jack or forklift. The Finished Goods Processor will audit pallets for proper labeling, check pallet quantity and check the WR (work receipt) transactions for accuracy. All information for both areas must then be entered into the computer system using Vo-Collect or green screen (manual production reporting) in PRMS computer system. The finished goods gatekeeper will be required to learn all aspects of the job to include start-up of shift paperwork and end of shift reconciliation paperwork. The Gatekeeper will support the Raw Gatekeeping in the receiving department. That function requires the transfer of raw product in the system (PRMS) for Production to use in proper rotation by using the IN9850 raw inventory report to direct the flow of raw product up on the lines by the Line feeder. Duties and Responsibilities: Inspection of powered jacks/powered trucks for operating conditions and safety. Operation of powered jacks/powered trucks. Compliance to all SOP's, safety, and all other Fresh Express policies. Accurate, timely, and efficient workflow of all assignments. Ability to learn the Vo-Collect system, PRMS reporting process, and reconciliations. Ability to read and understand all department paperwork including, but not limited to, production schedule, WR (work receipt) transactions, and issuing of raw product. Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Communicate with team members, QA, production, shipping, and Supervisor/Manager. Perform other duties as required or assigned by the Lead or Supervisor.
