Job Description Job Summary The General Maintenance position is an entry-level role and is responsible for assisting with general tasks around the worksite. This role requires minimum prior experience and serves as an introduction to the industry. *Farm Maintenance Manager* We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and hands-on *Farm Maintenance Manager* to oversee the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of a private farm and residential property. This is a *working manager position* responsible for supervising a team of approximately three maintenance employees while also working alongside the team to complete daily projects and routine maintenance. Job Responsibilities At District One Bridge Maintenance, performs skilled labor and excavator operation in setting, driving, and cutting of treated timber and steel piles as well as setting concrete caps and bridge deck slabs. Performs skilled labor and backhoe operation in grading, constructing catch basins, setting forms, and pouring and finishing concrete for bridge caps, sidewalks, and curb and gutter. Operates a Lowboy Truck Tractor as necessary to transport the crane, materials, and/or other equipment where needed. Operates various electric, gasoline, and air-powered tools used for bridge construction and maintenance activities. Performs manual labor while constructing handrails, placing rip-rap, attaching bridge hardware, cleaning bridge decks, and other associated maintenance activities. Trains in the operation of a crawler crane and/or mobile crane. Assists with emergency and inclement weather operations. May include extended hours and/or 12 hour shifts. Minimum and Additional Requirements One (1) year of related work experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence. Necessary Special Requirement: A valid motor vehicle operator’s license is required upon entry to the position. Requires attainment of a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within six (6) months of placement in the position. About the role The Engineering One Program is The Nuclear Company's early-career engineering program for exceptional graduating seniors who want to help build the next generation of nuclear infrastructure. We are hiring students graduating in Spring 2027 for full-time roles beginning in Summer 2027. Engineering One is designed for engineers who want more than a traditional entry-level position. Participants will work alongside experienced engineers, constructors, licensing professionals, project leaders, and Members of Nuclear Staff on real problems tied directly to the development and deployment of nuclear projects. The program provides broad exposure across the nuclear project lifecycle while building deep technical capability in an assigned discipline. Depending on your background and project needs, you may work across mechanical engineering, civil and structural engineering, construction and project delivery, nuclear licensing, systems engineering, or related technical functions. From your first day, you will be expected to learn quickly, ask good questions, work rigorously, and contribute to meaningful work. Responsibilities Engineering One participants will typically begin in one of the following areas while gaining exposure to the broader nuclear project lifecycle. Demonstrated technical depth and a record of solving difficult engineering, construction, or licensing problems. Experience working on complex capital projects through multiple lifecycle phases such as development, design, licensing, procurement, construction, commissioning, or operations. Strong understanding of nuclear-grade engineering rigor, configuration control, quality assurance, and requirements management. Ability to evaluate technical decisions in the context of safety, licensing, constructability, cost, schedule, supply chain, and execution risk rather than optimizing a single discipline in isolation. Demonstrated ability to influence decisions across disciplines and organizations without relying solely on formal authority. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to operate effectively in an environment characterized by rapid growth, evolving priorities, incomplete information, and high expectations.
