Responsible for properly installing, repairing and maintaining field beverage equipment. Must represent the company and its customers in a professional manner. Maintain an acceptable level of productivity related to the amount of completed calls. Primary Responsibilities: Perform installations, repairs and maintenance on commercial beverage and related equipment at our customers location. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, troubleshooting and repair of beverage equipment. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Demonstrate proper knowledge of equipment. Communicate with the supervisor when extra training may be needed. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. Comply with regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area. Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times while treating customers, driving company vehicles, etc. “Treat others how you would like to be treated” Fill out field service reports properly, legible and with as much information as possible. When eligible. Maintain frequent communication with the dispatcher to assure that the right information is relayed and entered into our system. Maintain company vehicles in good working condition, both mechanically and organized. Arrange for company vehicles to get routine maintenance and any required service. Make sure proper documentation is kept up-to-date and kept in company vehicles at all times. All repairs and service on vehicles covered by the company through our fleet management company. Fulfill all new and existing training requirements as set by service managers and/or technician development directors. Must be able to cover emergency calls on weekends on a rotating basis as laid out by the manager to satisfy the market needs. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements: Must be able to maintain a valid driver's license. Clean Driver Record Occasional Weekend Availability Must have some electrical troubleshooting knowledge. Be able to read volts, amps, ohms and continuity on multimeters. Must have some plumbing knowledge. Must provide your own general tools. Specialty industry tools provided to the technician on loan by the company. Working Conditions: Work includes long distance driving. The Training Supervisor is responsible for identifying plant training needs; evaluate training initiatives and maintain employee training records. The supervisor's overall role is to communicate organizational needs, oversee employees' work performance, provide guidance, support, identify development needs, and manage the reciprocal relationship between staff and the organization so that each is successful. Will work with Department Managers and Supervisors to progressively train the employees in their assigned department. Will promote a training program setting employees up for success in their positions and provide resources to expand their career. This role will assist with defining, developing content, and driving the training, cross training, and development program. Qualifications and Education Requirements Minimum of 3-5 years of training experience with a minimum of 2 years in manufacturing preferred Bachelor’s degree preferred Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new systems quickly Competent in use of audiovisual equipment Strong interpersonal and facilitator skills, exhibiting patience and dedication Strong analytical, planning, organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills Highly motivated self-starter and ability to work independently with demonstrated people and project leadership experience Ability to work across multiple shifts to meet the needs of a 24/7 operating environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effectively communicate with all levels of the company in a fast paced environment Ability to deal with stressful situations calmly and exhibit good judgement; adhering to safety practices; Must have a solid mechanical aptitude combined with technical training and/or the equivalent in manufacturing experience (preferably in food manufacturing). Train Trainers in effectively delivering and developing training material for employees, as appropriate Demonstrate creative troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Coordinate and maintain equipment and materials used in training Ability to read and interpret documents in the English language such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures manuals. Utilize needs assessment to identify gaps and use information to develop, implement, and adapt training content and methods Produce high quality content utilizing hardware, software, and visual aids, aligning delivery methods to complexity of information and audience Use OEM resources and subject matter experts to build technical training for equipment Facilitate training to the intended audience ensuring information is understood, including adjustments for literacy levels, languages, and learning styles as possible Maintain knowledge of contemporary training and development methods, including knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of technical writing. Distill technical concepts and operations into training appropriate to the intended audience Ensure training materials meet relevant organizational and statutory policies, including but not limited to, safety and employment laws Collaborate with Operational leaders across the site to increase information sharing, performance support, and training delivery skills Coordinate with Site leaders to understand training needs and influence the training and development agenda and objectives Lead Training Resources to produce written information; verify and confirm facts; Revising training materials to keep up with process improvements.
