*Overview* Join our dynamic team as a Pool Maintenance Worker and play a vital role in ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and optimal operation of aquatic facilities. In this energetic position, you'll be responsible for maintaining pool systems, troubleshooting equipment, handling water treatment chemicals, and providing excellent customer service to facility users. Your expertise will help create a safe and enjoyable environment for all pool visitors while supporting the ongoing maintenance and repair of pool infrastructure. This paid role offers hands-on experience in outdoor aquatic facility operations, combining technical skills with customer-focused service. *Duties* * Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of pools, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing, and ensuring water clarity. * Monitor and adjust pool chemistry by balancing pH levels, chlorine, alkalinity, and other water treatment chemicals to maintain safe swimming conditions. * Inspect and troubleshoot pool plumbing systems, pumps, filters, heaters, and other equipment to ensure proper functioning. * Conduct preventive maintenance on pool equipment using hand tools and power tools; perform repairs or coordinate repairs as needed. * Operate company vehicles safely to transport supplies or equipment to various aquatic facilities. * Handle water treatment chemicals responsibly following safety protocols; ensure proper storage and disposal. * Document maintenance activities, chemical levels, equipment issues, and safety inspections accurately for record-keeping purposes. *Qualifications* * Prior experience in pool maintenance or aquatic facility operations is highly desirable. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot pool equipment issues efficiently. * Familiarity with pool plumbing systems and water treatment chemical handling procedures. * Experience with pool chemistry balancing and water quality testing techniques. * Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment safely. * Excellent customer service skills to assist facility users professionally and courteously. * Outdoor work experience preferred due to the nature of the job environment. * Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate company vehicles responsibly. * Knowledge of safety standards related to chemical handling and equipment repair is a plus.
