CDL-A Local Driver / Forklift Operator, Full-time
Job Description Pickup and delivery of cargo to and from various destinations usually within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center. The loading and unloading of trailers utilizing the same techniques, technology and procedures as a dock worker. Actual duties and schedule may vary depending on terminal location. Responsibilities Load and unload cargo. Perform various tasks ranging from check-in, tractor/trailer inspection, tractor set up, and the pickup and delivery of cargo. Exercise independent judgment regarding the building and tearing down of the trailer to utilize time, resources, energy, and physical demands effectively and efficiently, while complying with all weight distribution laws. Other duties, as assigned. Operate a forklift as needed. Complete routine paperwork effectively, and properly log loading sheets. Requirements Education: High School Diploma / GED Experience: 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience (Candidates with less than 1 year experience may be eligible for training. Heathwood Hall Episcopal School has a healthy baseball program and is actively seeking coaching talent to support the program at all levels, including the Assistant Varsity, JV Head, and Middle School Baseball Coaches. Position responsibilities may include the following: Coordinates the team by the mission and values of the Heathwood Hall Athletic Department and works closely with the entire coaching staff, Director of Athletics, and Head of School. Builds and contributes to a program-wide culture of skill development, teamwork, and fun. Communicates scheduling weekly with students, parents, and the athletic administration, including practices, workouts, and games during the in-season, off-season, and summer. Assists in game and practice field maintenance and prep. Maintains game-day uniforms and practice gear/equipment, including keeping an inventory of all uniforms and organizing equipment in the storage areas. Encourages participation from Middle School and Upper School student-athletes on campus through team interest communications and meetings, as well as collaboration with other members of the coaching staff at all levels.
