Job Type: Contract Job Category: IT Job Description Job Title: Guidewire Tester – Claim & Billing Center Location: Remote – Canada Type: 6-12+ Months Contract (INC Only) Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Tester with strong expertise in ClaimCenter and BillingCenter modules. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing complex Guidewire implementations, executing functional and integration tests, and working within Agile delivery teams to ensure high-quality insurance product releases. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Guidewire ClaimCenter and BillingCenter. Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across Guidewire modules and integrated systems. Validate business workflows, data migration, and system configurations. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage. Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA or other test management tools. Work closely with automation engineers to enhance automated test coverage where applicable. Ensure testing aligns with insurance domain standards and Guidewire best practices. Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives). Required Skills & Experience: 8+ years of overall QA/testing experience with at least 3+ years in Guidewire testing. Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter and BillingCenter (PolicyCenter exposure is a plus). Familiarity with Guidewire data model, workflows, and integrations (web services, APIs). Experience in testing web services / REST APIs using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or ReadyAPI. Strong understanding of Agile testing methodologies and Defect Lifecycle Management. Experience with SQL for backend validation and data integrity checks. Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, TestNG, or similar) is an asset. Excellent communication and analytical skills. Nice-to-Have: Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GCP). Knowledge of Insurance domain processes (claims lifecycle, billing operations). Positions in fabrication as a Machine Operator include areas in Laser Cutting, Laser Punch Presses, Tube Laser, Forming (Press Brakes), Stamping, Machining, Robotic Welding, Saw, and Bar Room. Function in the Job: Medium/Heavy work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Job Function: Prepares production equipment for operation by making equipment setup adjustments and/or working with a setup operator that assists in equipment changeovers. Reads and interprets blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, and related technical data to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, control settings, and machining methods and sequences. Maintains quality standard specifications by conducting first-piece inspection, periodic inspection, and completing production control charts. Helps train others for production job responsibilities by demonstrating operational procedures. Maintains machine operation by solving production process problems; making authorized equipment adjustments; and reporting production and quality data. Frequent lifting of 50 lbs and using team lift assist. Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pulling, walking, and standing for the entirety of work shift. Must have communicable range of hearing and sight with or without the use of aids. Requires exposure to a typical fabrication area where environment is affected by outside temperatures and machines.
