Position Assembly - Off Line Repair Location USA, Camden, SC How You'll Create Possibilities Essential results-based duties Comply with all safety, quality, and procedure requirements noted in the applicable work instructions. Support projects to improve processes, gather data for analysis repairs and address repair failures. Operate in a LEAN manufacturing environment and provide feedback to management on resolution/ improvement ideas of current issues. Input scrap and repair data into computer systems to quantify scrap loss. Ensure that repair area’s organization and housekeeping, Performs and leads repairs as needed, including tear down, re-assembly of parts, and foam removal. Performs other duties deemed necessary by the Assembly Manager and Zone Leaders. Identify quality issues and troubleshoot to resolution with the production team. Proper communication in pre-shift and end-of-shift meetings, including accurate documentation. Operate basic hand tools (manual and automatic) for occasional and extended periods of time. Spray components with dry ice for foam removal on the units. Move tanks up and down the repair deck with the lift-assist area and pre-foam as needed. Verifies the information on the Manifest is matched to the tank, such as part numbers/ symbols. Moves inventory from production line and repair with mindfulness, not mixing parts and getting only necessary parts for repair. Works with other personnel to resolve quality issues on improperly functioning or uncompleted finished products. Other duties and responsibilities that Assembly Manager may assign. Required Qualifications: Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidate must possess the interpersonal skills to communicate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment effectively.
