Merchandising Service Associate – Plant Service Lead

The Merchandising Service Associate – Plant Service Lead is primarily responsible for overseeing execution of all assigned Live Nursery merchandising resets, service responsibilities and maintenance activities. This involves working outside in the garden center, ensuring merchandise is stocked, fronted, and priced according to planograms and store-specific merchandising standards (e.g., stock, displays, promotion space). The Merchandising Service Associate – Plant Service Lead works closely with the Merchandising Service Manager, MSA - Plant Service associates, , and store leaders to set and lead priorities for the MST Live Nursery team and identify store nursery service needs (e.g., materials, supplies, time) while also providing ongoing plant service updates and feedback. The MSA – Plant Service Lead is required to maintain a safe and secure work environment by conducting daily safety reviews, noting hazards, keeping store areas clean and organized while monitoring for potential theft or security risks. Travel Requirements: This role does not require regular travel; however, this role may need to travel on occasion to meetings, trainings, or to support neighboring stores. What you will do br> Always provide SMART customer service through the daily execution of Lowe's customer service policies, procedures, and programs. Build relationships with vendors by providing direction and checking to ensure merchandise resets are completed according to Lowe’s specifications. Collaborate with the Merchandising Service team and Manager by communicating project priorities, schedule, and project needs (e.g., materials, supplies, time) Although most of the time will be spent in activities that do not involve the direct interaction with customers, the individual in this role is expected to engage with customers when the opportunity arises. This includes: Understand customers’ needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise. Listen to and responds knowledgeably and promptly to customer questions, taking them to areas of the store when necessary. Demonstrate sincere appreciation to customers. Empty plant racks onto plant tables merchandising by planogram, price, and color block as they arrive. Identify damaged or missing signage, displays, collateral and orders replacements in accordance with merchandising standards and planogram details. Update/validate wayfinding and product location signage as well as digital maintenance of this information throughout the store. Ensure cross merchandise, side stack products, j-hooks and gravity feed bins are placed appropriately, helping to drive add-on sales. Assist with culling and pricing dead and distressed plants. Maintain a high level of communication and partnership with MSM and red vest associates. Identify and communicate issues with quality, quantity, and additional needs to Outside Garden Supervisor and MSM. Adjust fixtures, rotates stock, displays products and support materials using power equipment (e.g., lifts, order pickers) per service expectations and processes. Review, complete, and enter completion details (when, what, amount of time spent, taking and uploading photographs to confirm servicing completion, etc.) for all assigned service and maintenance tasks. Ensure all displays are safe and in working order and repaired/replaced as needed. Repair/seal damaged packaging and boxes including peg-hook items. Remove all trash, moves cardboard boxes to the bailer and moves plastic wrap and other debris to the compactor. Replace light bulbs and alerts the appropriate contact when additional maintenance issues are noted (lights out, painting, etc.). Detect common signs of shoplifting, theft, and other security risks, and promptly communicates them to management and/or Asset Protection. Ensure compliance with housekeeping standards and programs (e.g., Zone Recovery) to maintain cleanliness and organization of Outside Garden and working areas. Maintain a safe and secure work environment, which may include conducting daily safety reviews, noting hazards, keeping aisles clear, and securing doors and gates. Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to one’s regular job duties: top stock safety, reinstalling safety cables, use of aisle blockers, a tether line on power equipment, spotters, and safety devices. Operate store equipment as needed depending on one specific role and department (e.g., Zebra phone, telephone, paging system, copiers, fax machines, computers, CCTV surveillance system, key cutter, panel saw, paint mixer, flooring cutters, compacter baler). In addition to the above responsibilities, this individual is held accountable for other duties as assigned. Job Description ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide general overall facility management services, including continuous monitoring of office/facility • Address client inquiries and concerns ensuring timely and quality issue resolution and service delivery • Follow up with clients to ensure customer satisfaction • Respond to all facility inquiries and complaints, assess problems and take the necessary corrective action • Remain knowledgeable regarding all operational aspects of building systems • Coordinate with outside contractors for the service and repairs of equipment • Follow protocol for effective building-specific maintenance and safety procedures • Maintain on-going communication with contractors, client, and team • Assist with site inspection within the assigned building portfolio • Create work orders and assign work orders to the engineering staff, subcontractors, and vendors • Report on open and closed work orders and check the status of open work orders with the assigned party • Request, review, and submit work orders, bids, and proposals from vendors • Verify final invoice pricing and process payments in a timely manner • Assist in the monitoring and assessment of vendor performance • Train vendors on work order and billing procedures • Manage complex work orders such as environmental issues and disaster recovery • Manage service and performance of vendors and landlords for timely completion of jobs • Create and record appropriate written communication between all parties • Schedule and document maintenance and repairs on building equipment • Communicate frequently with client, landlords, and vendors to resolve issues and provide project status updates • Provide process and procedures training and direction to new associates • Coordinate special events in support of client • Assist with measuring and reporting key performance indicators against service level agreements • Provide facilities helpdesk services on behalf of the client(s) and monitor internal/external workflow for all facilities cases to ensure consistent quality of service and work product KEY COMPETENCIES 1. Team Orientation IMPORTANT EDUCATION • High school diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required • Associates or Bachelors degree in facilities management, building, business or other related field preferred IMPORTANT EXPERIENCE • A minimum of 1 year of work experience in an administrative, accounting or tenant services capacity • Experience with data entry, expansive reporting, filing, answering phones, scheduling and communications • Previous customer service experience • Prior experience working in the facilities/property management, commercial real estate or professional services industries preferred ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS • Working knowledge of lease terms, the reconciliation process for Common Area Maintenance, insurance, and real estate taxes • Proficient in understanding management agreements and contract language • Working knowledge of computer software programs and base building systems • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint) • Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment • Excellent interpersonal skills • Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including but not limited to overnight travel, on call after hours and weekends WORK ENVIRONMENT This job operates in a professional office environment. Ophthalmic Technician Job Summary: Responsible for daily patient care and flow of clinic activities. Position requires good understanding of ophthalmic practice and patient care. Knowledge of medical instrumentation and its proper care and usage needed. Ability to assess common safety hazards and take precautions to establish a safe work environment required. Ability to communicate with patients, co-workers, and supervisor is critical. Must be willing to help in all areas and understand the need for efficient use of time. Job Responsibilities Duties: Promptly and professionally assisting the doctor in patient care. Performing technical workups, patient interviews and special testing. Communicating with patients regarding follow-up care, surgeries, procedures, changes in schedule, symptoms, etc. Understands and uses proper sterile technique. Maintaining and cleaning all equipment being used. Report to supervisor if not in working condition. Returning phone calls to patients and pharmacies. Assisting in minor office surgery to include ocular preparation for sterile injections. Maintaining patient confidentiality. Attending required meetings. Cooperates with supervisory staff and physicians. Available to Dr. in clinic when needed. Scribes readily when doctor desires. Required Skills and Qualifications Minimum Demonstrated Skills/Qualifications: Efficiently and accurately interviews patients and documents histories. Demonstrates working knowledge of eye anatomy, disease, symptoms, and ocular meds. Accurately performs: - Visual Acuity Measurement - Tono-pen Tonometry - Amslers Grid Testing - Muscle Testing - Pupil Exams Utilizes proper eye drop technique and sterility.
