Perform Product Link hardware installations, repairs and upgrades as requested by customers. Perform installation, repair and upgrades on other technologies as required which can include Product Link Hardware, VisionLink, Minestar Hardware, Cat Command, Cat Command LOS, Cat Payload, OEM Telematics, Cat Grade Control, Trimble Grade Control, Cat Detect, Machine Security System, VIMS, PLE Certificates, etc. Perform ECM firmware updates on machines as needed. Follow all documented Technology Dept processes and guidelines. Flexible to work afterhours when needed to meet customer needs. Maintain service truck with minor repairs, service and maintenance of equipment carried on the service truck. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years’ experience working on heavy equipment is required. Must have a complete set of tools capable of working on heavy equipment. Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and proper repair procedures is required. Must be able to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics, operating and maintenance service manuals. Organizational and time management skills required. Ability to set and keep priorities and professionally handle the stress associated with dealing with a fast-paced industry and time frames. Must be a Team player that is enthusiastic and hard working with the ability to complete work with minimal supervision. High degree of interpersonal skills with excellent written and oral communication skills is required.
