Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic Senior System and Technology Engineer who can bridge the gap between physical security infrastructure and modern digital platforms. This critical role involves evaluating and implementing emerging technologies—including AI, robotics, IoT, and smart sensors—to develop scalable, reliable, and integrated solutions. You will serve as a key technical liaison between Product, IT, and Operations, translating engineering concepts into actionable deployment plans and ensuring seamless system integration. Your Impact Evaluate emerging security technologies, including AI/ML, robotics, smart sensors, and IoT platforms. Conduct technical assessments and feasibility studies for new hardware/software integrations. Monitor market trends and technology developments to inform future architectural strategies. Define and develop interfaces, protocols, and middleware for seamless connectivity between sensors, control systems, and enterprise platforms. Conduct pilot deployments and field tests to validate system performance, scalability, and reliability. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system architectures and integration guides. Work closely with IT to align hardware solutions with enterprise software platforms, APIs, and networking standards. Partner with Product, R&D, and Field Operations teams to gather requirements, test solutions, and iterate on designs. Interface with external vendors and technology partners to source best-in-class components. Develop systems for real-time monitoring, diagnostics, and performance analysis of deployed technology. Implement smart alerts, failover capabilities, and predictive maintenance features into hardware solutions. Key Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field. At least four years of experience in a technical engineering role focused on system integration, security technology, or IoT. Technical Proficiency: Strong grasp of embedded systems and serial communication protocols (e.g., RS-232, RS-485). Proficiency in industrial networking standards (TCP/IP, MQTT, Modbus). Hands-on experience integrating sensors, microcontrollers, and edge computing devices in industrial or outdoor environments. Proven experience with IoT platforms, automation technologies, or security robotics. Proficient in scripting and programming languages such as Python, C/C++, and Node.js. Exceptional cross-functional communication skills, capable of effectively presenting technical concepts to both engineering teams and business stakeholders. Strong analytical, diagnostic, and system-level thinking skills, comfortable operating in environments that combine physical hardware, software integration, and cloud/networking technologies. POSITION SUMMARY: The Member Services Representative is the first point of contact for all YMCA members and guests, providing exceptional customer service and assistance with membership inquiries, program registration, and facility access. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Greet members and guests in a warm and welcoming manner as they enter the YMCA facility. Provide information about YMCA programs, services, events, and membership options. Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff members or departments.
