Position Description Responsible for the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with orders of the physicians and total needs of the residents. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and adherence to safety regulations while operating various types of trucks. You will be expected to manage your own vehicle and maintain high standards of professionalism on the road. *Duties* * Operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, and flatbeds. * Ensure timely delivery of freight to designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. * Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage driven. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. * Handle loading and unloading of freight, utilizing forklifts when necessary. * Manage maintenance and repairs for your truck to ensure optimal performance. *Skills* * Proficient in truck driving with experience in manual transmission operation. * Knowledgeable in handling various types of trailers such as refrigerated, dump, and flatbed. * Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety practices. * Experience as a delivery driver with a focus on customer satisfaction. * Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently. * Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. * Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges that may arise during transportation.
