Tunista Operations Support Services LLC Regular PRIMARY FUNCTION The Ft Jackson Janitor cleans and keeps in an orderly condition factory working areas and washrooms, or premises of offices, working areas, and establishments for Ft Jackson CDC and SSI. Duties involve a combination of the following: Sweeping, mopping or scrubbing, and polishing floors; removing chips, trash, and other refuse; dusting equipment, furniture, or fixtures; polishing metal fixtures or trimmings; providing supplies and cleaning lavatories, showers, and restrooms. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Performs daily assigned tasks to include indoor and outdoors, sweeping and clearing outdoor waste bins. Carries out cleaning tasks during normal duty hours and/or in the evening. Sweep, vacuum, mop, dust, empty waste bins and fix minor issues. Responsible for locking and/or unlocking buildings, depending on schedule. Resupply or restock restrooms supply, offices, toiletries, soaps, towels and necessary products. Perform periodic duties, such as waxing floors. Dust mechanical devices like monitors, desktops, printers and any other devices. Clean windows, doors, glasses and mirrors. Adhere to Green Cleaning process. Ensure the success of the QCP. Communicates routinely with the PM and QCM. Professional engages with customers. Supports the emphasis on safety, environmental compliance, and quality of operations. Ensures compliance through thorough awareness of company and client directives, policies, and procedures. Performs spot, routine and scheduled cleaning. Ensures adherence to standard concepts, practices, and safety procedures. Be on duty at the worksite as scheduled. Timely completion and accuracy of all inspections and work. Works closely and harmoniously with other employees. Must be able to multitask. Perform other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: Must possess custodial knowledge of Government contract. Must possess knowledge of Green Cleaning procedures, practices and methods. Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area and sales area. 8. Communicate guest requests to management and/or satisfy request in a timely manner. 9. Communicate temperature and/or product breakdowns to supervisor. 10. Keep supply and work area neat, clean and tidy at all times. 11. Maintain proper grooming and uniform standard. 12. Ability to execute and train on duties of all hosts as outlined above 13. Work with management to ensure proper standards are maintained 14. Ability to work with management on orders 15. Ability to assist in completing schedules 16. Performs front end duties to insure “no noticeable wait” standard is maintained. 17. Announce specials and sale info on the PA system. 18. Assist in product receiving and storage. 19. Perform all other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: 1. Minimum of 1 year prior food service preparation experience is a must 2. Prior supervisory experience is a plus 3. Friendly, outgoing personality. 4. Ability to work well with others. 5. Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally. 6. Ability to read and understand information and direction. 7. Effective communication, customer service and selling skills. 8. Must be at least 18 years old. 9.
