About the Role: The purpose of the Registered Nurse Clinician is to provide medically prescribed infusion therapy to patients with acute and chronic conditions. Schedule: PRN; Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Saturdays as needed. Service Areas: West Columbia, SC and may travel to nearby clinics as needed. Minimum Qualifications: Experience/Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Active Registered Nurse license in the state(s) of practice. 1 year of nursing experience in a clinical specialty involving infusion therapy. BLS or obtain upon hire. Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel). Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm manner. Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team. Essential Functions: Work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team in an ambulatory infusion clinic setting. Effectively utilize the nursing process to assess and care for patients. Provide comprehensive nursing care in a professional, ethical, knowledgeable, and compassionate manner. Provide disease and drug-specific education to patients and caregivers. Comply with HIPAA and ACHC regulations. Participates in on-call rotation as assigned for AIC nurses. Travel to outlying clinics as needed. Maintain knowledge of medical/nursing practices by participating in educational in-services.
