In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with behavioral health needs, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your primary focus will be to support clients in achieving their goals through effective behavioral therapy techniques and data collection. *Duties* * Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA. * Assist clients in developing skills for daily living and social interactions. * Collect and record data on client progress and behavior changes accurately. * Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to promote positive behavior management. * Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations while handling sensitive information. * Document medical information and progress notes in compliance with medical documentation standards. * Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to client care. * Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in behavioral health. *Skills* * Experience working with children or individuals with special needs is highly desirable. * Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to behavioral health practices. * Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques and behavior management strategies. * Strong data collection skills for tracking client progress effectively. * Familiarity with applied behavior analysis principles and methodologies. * Ability to assist clients compassionately while maintaining professional boundaries. * Understanding of HIPAA regulations concerning patient confidentiality and privacy. * Competence in medical documentation practices related to behavioral interventions.
