Job Responsibilities Individual must be familiar with and comfortable working in, a military environment within the Department of Defense. Individual must be able to assist in classroom instruction. Individual must have the ability to establish and maintain professional and effective working relationships and effective communication with associates, students, visiting teachers/administrators as well as military personnel who are assigned to McEntire JNGB. Position may require occasional out of town training and/or travel. Individual must be able to stand for all periods of time in conjunction with teaching and/or other administrative duties. Individual must be capable to work with the basic 5th grade STARBASE Swamp Fox program and the STARBASE Swamp Fox 2.0 program conducted at the Middle School level. Minimum and Additional Requirements High School Degree/GED. Personnel with comparable military instructional experience or individuals pursuing teaching certificates may be considered. Preferred Qualifications Ability to maintain an orderly classroom and render individualized instruction. Ability to maintain effective relationships with students and parents.
