Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced CDL driver to: * Safely operate a semi-truck, gooseneck trailer, and other CDL-class vehicles to transport restoration equipment and dumpsters. * Make rare out-of-state trips (only after major hurricanes) for drop-off/setup of equipment — returning home promptly after. These deployments may occur 1–2 times per year or not at all in a given year. * Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs on trucks, trailers, and company equipment. * Use forklift skills to position or load equipment. * (Bonus) Apply HVAC or mechanical expertise to assist with servicing desiccant dehumidifiers and generators. No heavy manual unloading of restoration equipment is required. Able/willing to conduct asbestos/lead/mold remediation monitoring projects, asbestos/lead/mold surveys, exposure monitoring and specialized industrial hygiene projects, hazardous material testing, groundwater monitoring well installation/testing, soil borings and sampling, stormwater discharge monitoring, and underground storage tank compliance. 40-hr HAZWOPER certification preferred but not required A professional license in at least one of the following is preferred but not required: Asbestos, Lead, Mold Technical requirements: Knowledge of Microsoft Office® applications Knowledge of federal, state and local regulations applicable to asbestos and lead preferred but not required Basic understanding of soil/groundwater sampling requirements preferred but not required Basic understanding of Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessment requirements preferred but not required Technical/report writing skills are preferred but not required Other miscellaneous qualities: Ability to climb stairs/ladders and lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to travel locally up to 100%. Ability to travel regionally up to 50% Must have reliable transportation.
