The pre-fab department’s responsibility is to take raw materials and turn it into usable parts for the welders to construct products with. This individual will be working Monday-Friday; 8am-5pm. Familiarity with basic tools is required. Experience using sanders, drills, and iron workers is a plus. We will be offering on the job training. We are looking for someone who can: Set up and operate machines to saw, cut, drill, and bend materials according to work orders and production schedules, ensuring adherence to specified material size, quantity, cut dimensions, and tolerances. Follow standardized work processes and ensure correct documentation is maintained throughout production. Perform minor machine maintenance, including replacing saw blades, oiling machines, and replenishing consumables. Measure completed workpieces to verify accuracy against specifications. Clean and lubricate machines daily to ensure optimal operation and longevity. Maintain inventory, including raw materials, tube laser components, inventory bins, and consumables, ensuring availability for production needs. Produce consistent, accurate work daily, meeting production goals with minimal assistance. Lift items weighing 50+ pounds as needed and perform tasks efficiently and independently. Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, weld symbols, bills of materials, and other instructions, both written and verbal. Maintain a safe and clean work area, adhering to all safety guidelines and best practices. Assist with overall department and production needs as required, contributing to team goals and operational success. Perform all other duties as assigned.
