*Position Summary:* Luxe Home Care is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented *Administrative Assistant* with a background in caregiving. This dual-experience role is vital to ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the agency while also bringing insight and empathy to the unique needs of our clients and caregivers. The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional, compassionate, and capable of handling a wide range of administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. *Key Responsibilities:* *Administrative Duties:* * Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner * Greet clients, staff, and visitors, creating a welcoming office environment * Maintain and update client and caregiver files (both physical and electronic) * Assist with scheduling caregiver shifts and maintaining updated calendars * Prepare and process documentation such as care plans, timesheets, and intake forms * Monitor and respond to emails and agency communications * Assist with onboarding new caregivers, including background checks and training coordination * Track client service hours, billing records, and payroll-related data * Support the owner and office manager with special projects and daily office needs *Caregiving Support Duties (as needed):* * Provide backup caregiving in emergency or short-staffed situations * Offer insight into caregiver-client relationships to help resolve issues or improve care quality * Assist with care plan development and updates based on caregiving knowledge and experience * Train new caregivers on compassionate care, professionalism, and agency standards *Qualifications:* * High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred * *Prior administrative experience* in a healthcare or home care setting * *Background in caregiving or direct care* strongly preferred * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with scheduling or care management software * Must maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations * Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 35 per week Work Location: In person
