As a Maintenance Technician II, you'll play a crucial role in keeping our production equipment running smoothly and efficiently. You'll perform preventive and corrective maintenance, assist production teams with troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and PLC system issues, and ensure equipment operates safely within our production schedule. This hands-on role requires experience with power tools, machinery, and maintenance management systems, along with a commitment to safety, quality, and compliance. Responsibilities: Performs preventive, scheduled and corrective repairs on equipment, reports findings to supervisor and takes appropriate action. Assists production workers in diagnosing malfunctions in systems and equipment. Tests equipment after repairs, changeovers or extended downtime Assists with or executes major equipment overhauls. Assists with or performs the troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatic, plumbing and PLC Software problems. Maintans production equipment while operating on a defined production schedule. Operates general machinery and tools including saws, drills, power tools, scissor lifts, forklifts, etc Interacts with and maintains records in accordance with Maintenance Management System requirements and job assignments and communicates via email, all with the use of computer systems. Completes duties in accordance with quality assurance, GMPs, safety and other company programs and procedures, and in compliance with government code and regulations. Maintains clean, organized and safe work area, including wipe and washing equipment and tools, sweeping and mopping floors, and trash removal. Confers with and coordinates activities with Bakery personnel and other departments to minimize disruptions to production and maintenance schedules. Escorts contractors while in the bakery facility on scheduled visits. Performs other duties as assigned or required Qualifications: High school diploma with a minimum of 3 years mechanical and/or electrical experience in industrial and manufacturing machinery OR 5 years mechanical and/or electrical experience in industrial and manufacturing machinery is required. Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field preferred Advanced Electrical, Refrigeration, Welding, Boiler/Air Compressor and Machinist experience Must have ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, instrumentation and control systems design documentation and vendor supplied documents including Process & Instrument Drawings (PID), electrical single line drawings, instrument loop drawings, electrical cable, routing and termination, mechanical diagrams and machine layout drawings Experience in two of the following skills: refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and food manufacturing process controls Knowledge of equipment set-up, functionality, operating procedures and preventative maintenance techniques Able to handle multiple tasks with capability of prioritizing and planning work activities. Maintains Quality Assurance department payroll information in e-time such as vacations, personal days, overtime, etc. Performs and documents aging stock reviews. Generates the Non-conformance reports and follows-up on ingredients placed on hold. Updates Quality Assurance tech schedules as needed and coordinates time off requests to insure proper coverage based on operational needs. Follows-up on required Capability Analysis as per Quality Assurance Manager’s request. Performs monthly internal audit in conjunction with Quality Assurance manager. Reviews Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and reports findings. Works to maintain and improve on the quality, legality and safety of each product and the processes used in their manufacture. Responsible for keeping assigned work area clean and tidy at all times and report any potential contamination and suspicious activity. Other tasks as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum recognized Diploma in a Food related discipline. Knowledge of American Institute of Baking (AIB) standards preferred. Your main task will be forging lasting relationships with business owners and key stakeholders, understanding their needs, and presenting tailored insurance solutions that make a real difference in their lives. Out in the field, you'll engage directly with potential clients through cold calls and in-person visits using our state-of-the-art Salesforce CRM. Your goal will be not only to close sales but to become a trusted advisor to your clients, ensuring they feel valued and understood. You'll maintain these relationships through effective communication, handling inquiries with care, and providing ongoing support, especially during the claims process. What We're Looking For: Proven experience in sales or customer-facing roles, with a preference for those experienced in outside sales. Ability to conduct full training cycles, including both in-person and online sessions. Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills. A deep desire to assist and empower clients, showing genuine concern for their well-being. Health & Life general lines license, or the willingness to obtain it within 90 days (with support from Summit). Position Overview: This is an outside sales position working in your own assigned sales territory. We will train you to call on small and medium-sized businesses that operate in a variety of industries, meeting face-to-face with business owners and decision-makers to offer some of the industry's best supplemental insurance products and services to them and their employees. You will work with business owners, benefits managers, and their employees individually at times; other times, you will give product presentations with employee groups as large as 50-100+ people.
