Our requirements for this role: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in emergency management, criminal justice, business, public safety, public administration, or related field. 8–10+ years of experience in safety, emergency management and/or related field in a healthcare setting. Incident Management Team (IMT) Certifications: There are several IMT certifications available; it is recommended that the Director of Emergency Preparedness/Emergency Preparedness Lead have one to ensure formal training and knowledge on the ability to manage emergency operations.
